- • Own end-to-end office operations for Back Market’s 5,000m² Paris HQ, including supplies, snacks, mail, deliveries, and facility management
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for building management and subtenant relationships, collaborating closely with Legal
- • Ensure every visitor, candidate, partner, or courier receives a warm and professional welcome upon arrival
- • Design and execute monthly Some Hands after-parties — from concept and venue scouting in Paris to on-site execution and attendee experience
- • Create and implement onboarding rituals and micro-moments that help new Back Makers feel welcomed and connected from day one
- • Support global events such as All Hands and BackCon by ensuring seamless on-site and online execution with full impact
- • Lead the weekly Monday Brief to keep the Paris office informed, energized, and aligned
- • Manage and maintain active, useful, and engaging Paris-specific Slack channels and Confluence pages
- • Act as the key liaison between Back Makers and internal teams including IT, Legal, and Facilities
- • Build, track, and manage the annual office and events budget with financial discipline and creative efficiency
- • Select, negotiate with, and manage vendors for catering, events, and facilities, handling invoices through Navan and Dynamics
- • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives that align with Back Market’s mission of sustainability and efficiency
- • Ensure all workplace operations are conducted sustainably, with preference for local, eco-conscious, and inclusive vendors
- • Facilitate and present in front of groups during events, briefings, or team gatherings
- • Maintain organizational clarity and communication across all workplace and culture initiatives
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Workplace Manager, or in a comparably versatile operational role
- • Solid budget management skills with comfort using expense tracking, reporting, and procurement tools
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
