- • As a Workplace Financial Consultant (WFC) at Fidelity Investments, you will play a pivotal role within the Workplace Education Planning & Advice (WEPA) organization, dedicated to enhancing participant engagement and fostering plan sponsor advocacy within local workplace communities.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a crucial liaison, bridging the gap between clients and internal Fidelity business partners. This involves developing and executing client needs-based strategies to ensure Fidelity's sustained success within your assigned book of business.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be providing direct financial advice and guidance to plan participants. This will be achieved through a variety of engaging formats, including one-on-one meetings, informative workshops, accessible help desk sessions, participation in benefits fairs, and dynamic lunch and learn events.
- • Your ultimate goal is to empower participants to make more informed and confident decisions about their personal finances, contributing to their long-term financial well-being and ensuring the achievement of industry-leading customer satisfaction.
- • You will conduct personalized 1:1 financial planning and investment advice appointments, catering to the unique needs of each participant. These sessions can be conducted both virtually and in-person, offering flexibility and accessibility.
- • A core element of your client interaction will be the application of the Fidelity Relationship Model, ensuring a consistent and high-quality client experience.
- • You will also be responsible for educating participants on fundamental financial planning topics through engaging 1:many educational sessions, including onsite workshops and interactive "Ask Fidelity" sessions.
- • Proactive engagement planning with plan sponsors is essential. You will work closely with them to understand their objectives and align Fidelity's services to meet those needs.
- • Networking and outreach are key components of this role. You will actively engage with participants through lunch and learn sessions, help desk support, and by representing Fidelity at various benefits fairs.
- • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local branch business partners is crucial for strengthening the Personal Workplace Advantage/Partnership, ensuring a cohesive and supportive client ecosystem.
- • The WEPA organization is committed to helping employees within our client organizations achieve their financial goals. Employers partner with Fidelity for the administration of their 401k, 403b, Equity Compensation, and other benefit plans, and often require assistance in driving participant engagement.
- • Our mission is to be a trusted partner for both plan sponsors and participants, delivering expert education, financial planning, and advice through both virtual and on-site channels across the nation.
- • The impact of this role is significant, as WEPA delivers value to over one million plan participants annually, inspiring them to achieve their financial aspirations and embodying the broader Fidelity Advantage.
- • Joining WEPA means becoming part of a collaborative team that prioritizes connection, inspiration, and the cultivation of strong relationships, both internally and with our valued plan sponsors.
- • You will have ample opportunities for professional growth, developing your skills to deliver world-class planning and educational experiences for participants.
- • Ultimately, success in this role means winning on behalf of our clients, our participants, and Fidelity as a whole, contributing to a culture of shared achievement.
- • Fidelity Investments, a privately held company, is driven by a mission to enhance the financial well-being of its clients through comprehensive investment and planning services, employee benefits solutions, and institutional investment and technology offerings.
- • At Fidelity, you'll discover a wealth of opportunities to build a rewarding career that makes a tangible positive impact on individuals' lives, including your own.
- • You can leverage flexible benefits designed to support you through every phase of your career, enabling you to thrive both professionally and personally.
- • Recognized by employees with a Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award as a Best Place to Work in 2023, Fidelity fosters an environment where diverse backgrounds are valued, and extensive learning opportunities are available to support your career aspirations, regardless of your prior finance experience.
- • This role requires you to reside in the Greater Houston, TX area, with an expectation of working on local client campuses 4-5 days per week, underscoring the importance of local presence and client accessibility.
