• • As the Senior Project Manager for the xScale Finance PMO at Equinix, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing high-impact financial initiatives that drive the company's global digital infrastructure growth.
• • This pivotal role involves establishing and upholding best practices, robust governance frameworks, and standardized methodologies for project delivery within the finance domain, ensuring consistency and excellence across the board.
• • You will take ownership of the entire project portfolio, meticulously overseeing strategic alignment, prioritization, and optimal resource allocation to maximize efficiency and impact.
• • A key responsibility includes driving proactive resource planning and capacity management, identifying potential constraints and developing strategies to address them effectively, ensuring project teams are adequately staffed and supported.
• • You will act as a mentor and support system for other project managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to project delivery standards.
• • The role demands the implementation and maintenance of comprehensive frameworks for project tracking, reporting, and risk management, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making across all projects within the portfolio.
• • You will be the primary point of contact for senior leadership stakeholders, cultivating strong relationships and providing regular, insightful updates on project progress, key milestones, and potential challenges.
• • Beyond PMO leadership, you will directly manage and execute complex, strategic finance projects, particularly those related to joint ventures (JVs), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital markets transactions, guiding them from inception through successful completion.
• • This includes coordinating intricate project activities for new joint ventures, refinancing efforts, and significant capital markets transactions, requiring close collaboration with treasury, capital markets, and other finance teams.
• • You will meticulously maintain project governance and tracking mechanisms, ensuring all decisions, deliverables, and dependencies are accurately documented, monitored, and managed.
• • A significant part of your role will involve leading comprehensive due diligence activities, spanning financial, tax, legal, and operational workstreams, to ensure thorough assessment and risk mitigation.
• • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk registers, providing a clear roadmap for project execution.
• • Effective communication is paramount; you will articulate project objectives, progress, risks, and outcomes clearly and concisely to a diverse range of stakeholders, including executive-level reporting.
• • The application of advanced project management methodologies and tools, such as PMP, PMI, or PRINCE2 principles, is expected to ensure best-in-class project execution.
• • You will meticulously plan and manage cutover activities, ensuring seamless transitions and operational readiness for critical transaction closings.
