📋 Description
- • Lead financial control and reporting for UK, Europe, and North America entities, ensuring accurate month-end close and group consolidation under IFRS and US GAAP for a business generating £1.5B+ in annual regional gift card sales.
- • Manage and develop a team of seven offshore Financial Accountants and Senior Financial Accountants, driving accountability, performance, and consistent delivery against global timelines.
- • Partner with the global finance team in Sydney and regional stakeholders to support statutory audits, tax compliance, treasury operations, and cross-functional finance issue resolution.
- • Gain expertise in multi-entity, multi-currency accounting, IFRS/US GAAP reporting, and global finance operations while contributing to Prezzee’s mission of transforming digital gifting at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
- • Demonstrated experience leading and developing accounting teams, including offshore resources, with a focus on accountability and performance.
- • Expert knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP; practical experience with UK/EU VAT and income tax is highly advantageous.
- • Advanced Excel skills and deep experience with ERP systems (Workday ERP experience advantageous).
- • Proven ability to work effectively within a global team across time zones (Australia, UK, US).
