- • Develop and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Java for enterprise clients in the digital transformation space.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable and secure mobile solutions.
- • Implement clean, maintainable code following Android best practices, including MVVM architecture, dependency injection, and modularization.
- • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs to enable seamless connectivity with cloud-based services and IoT platforms.
- • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency to ensure smooth user experiences across diverse device configurations.
- • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold code quality standards and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve critical bugs and performance issues reported by QA teams and end users in production environments.
- • Stay current with Android platform updates, new libraries, and industry trends to recommend and implement technological improvements.
- • Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for mobile applications.
- • Ensure applications comply with security standards and data privacy regulations applicable to enterprise clients.
- • Write and maintain comprehensive unit and instrumentation tests to achieve high test coverage and reduce regression risks.
- • Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for automated builds, testing, and releases.
- • Document technical designs, API integrations, and implementation decisions for internal and client-facing teams.
- • Support the deployment of applications to Google Play Store, including preparation of release notes, compliance checks, and metadata management.
- • Engage in technical discussions with stakeholders to evaluate feasibility, estimate effort, and prioritize development tasks.
- • Adapt to evolving project scopes and client needs while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery timelines.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin and Java
- • Proven track record of delivering production-grade Android applications for enterprise clients
- • Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Architecture Components, and Material Design guidelines
- • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and network communication libraries such as Retrofit or OkHttp
- • Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt
- • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
