- • Lead and grow a high-performing remote sales team of Account Executives to drive revenue growth across individual, team, and organizational goals for Block, Inc.’s SMB segment.
- • Build a culture of trust, accountability, and fun by fostering open communication, constructive debate, and information sharing while coaching AEs using data-driven insights to improve performance and customer success.
- • Hire, train, and ramp new Account Executives; develop predictable sales funnel processes; conduct weekly pipeline reviews and forecasts; and evolve sales strategy and tactics based on customer feedback and market needs.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine decision-making, leverage customer voice to improve products, and envision and execute new ideas that enhance seller outcomes and Square’s omnichannel commerce ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience as a sales manager
- • 3 years of documented sales success as an individual contributor exceeding targets
- • Proven experience in hiring, training, and ramping new Account Executives
- • Leadership and coaching experience with a desire to help others succeed
- • Expertise in creating structure around sales metrics and managing performance to achieve KPIs
- • Ability to collaborate across teams and inspire change
