- • As a Senior Account Manager at Wrike, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion and success of our commercial customer base in Japan. This is an elevated position where you will act as a strategic partner to a portfolio of clients ranging from 250 to 5,000 employees. Your expertise in managing complex accounts, aligning with executive stakeholders, and navigating procurement processes will be crucial in delivering significant business impact. You will be instrumental in scaling Wrike's presence within these organizations and empowering them to achieve their most critical objectives through our powerful work management platform. If you are a collaborative professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and excels at connecting technology solutions to tangible business challenges, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Wrike's continued growth and success in the Japanese market.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the development and execution of comprehensive, multi-year commercial account plans designed to foster expansion across a portfolio of high-value customers. You will manage complex sales cycles from beginning to end, which includes proactively identifying opportunities, conducting executive-level discovery, designing value-driven solutions, and skillfully navigating negotiation, procurement, renewal, and closing processes. A key aspect of your role will be to proactively engage and cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders through targeted, data-informed outreach initiatives, with the goal of uncovering and influencing new expansion opportunities within your assigned accounts. You will facilitate deep consultative discovery sessions to gain a thorough understanding of evolving customer pain points, critical business imperatives, and organizational change drivers across multiple teams and regions. Furthermore, you will design and implement sophisticated, solution-based, value-driven sales strategies that clearly articulate Wrike's Return on Investment (ROI), align our platform with customers' business outcomes, and effectively differentiate us from competitors. You will be responsible for delivering impactful, tailored demonstrations and high-stakes presentations to both executive and operational audiences, clearly illustrating Wrike’s direct impact on their critical initiatives. You will also create sophisticated, data-driven strategies for identifying, prioritizing, and capturing expansion opportunities within each account by meticulously analyzing usage trends, adoption metrics, business goals, and relevant industry developments. Navigating complex enterprise procurement cycles, including RFPs, contract negotiation, and legal review, will be essential to ensure successful account expansion, mitigate risks, and accelerate the time to close. Continuous monitoring and analysis of competitor offerings, market trends, and customer feedback will be vital to position Wrike advantageously and guide your account strategy. You will leverage essential sales tools such as Salesforce, SalesNavigator, and ZoomInfo, along with CRM best practices, to rigorously map stakeholder landscapes, track pipeline health, and enable accurate forecasting. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Solutions, Marketing, and Product, will be crucial to ensure seamless post-sale transitions, maximize customer satisfaction, and deliver sustained value for clients. Ultimately, your success will be measured by consistently exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets through disciplined account management, strategic expansion, and the cultivation of superior customer partnerships.
- • You will join Wrike's high-performing Expand Sales team, a group dedicated to driving double-digit growth within our existing customer base. This team is focused on managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, each with active Wrike subscriptions. You will work collaboratively with a network of cross-functional partners, including Customer Success, Solutions, Marketing, and Product teams, to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities that not only solve customer challenges but also help you achieve your booking and pipeline targets. The team operates with a strong sense of collaboration, supporting each other and celebrating collective wins. Wrike itself is a leading work management platform designed for teams and organizations seeking to enhance collaboration, creativity, and daily productivity. Our vision is a world where everyone is free to focus on their most purposeful work, together. The Japanese office, established in 2019, is experiencing significant market expansion, driven by a team that embodies a collaborative spirit and works diligently to improve customer productivity.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in complex account management and consultative selling within the SaaS industry. You will gain invaluable experience in navigating enterprise-level sales cycles, building strategic relationships with C-suite executives, and understanding the intricacies of procurement processes in large organizations. You will hone your skills in data-driven strategy development, solution design, and executive presentation delivery. Furthermore, you will contribute directly to the growth of Wrike's presence in the Japanese market, playing a key role in shaping customer success stories. The role offers clear career progression paths, with opportunities to advance into senior account management or leadership positions based on your performance and career aspirations. You will also benefit from comprehensive training, including structured onboarding and ongoing sales enablement, designed to help you master Wrike's product and refine your sales skills, fostering continuous professional development and growth.
