- • As a Senior Business Development Manager EMEA at Chemours, you will drive growth in the Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration and HVACR markets by expanding the Opteon™ portfolio across Italy and the wider EMEA region, directly contributing to Chemours’ mission of delivering Trusted Chemistry that creates better lives and helps communities thrive.
- • Day to day, you will build deep market expertise in industrial refrigeration, HVACR, and thermal management; identify new applications and partnerships; develop value propositions for OEMs, end users, and distributors; establish and maintain cross-functional relationships with technical, commercial, R&D, and operational teams; engage senior stakeholders to align Chemours solutions with their roadmaps; leverage your network to find decision-makers; drive growth through field engagement, seminars, case studies, and targeted marketing; generate and qualify opportunities; track conversion; and provide market insights to support strategic planning and product development.
- • You will join Chemours’ EMEA Marketing and Business Development team, reporting to the EMEA Strategy and Market Development Lead, based in Italy with a remote work setup and up to 50% travel across EMEA, working within a global leader in sustainable chemistry that powers clean energy, advanced electronics, AI, climate-friendly cooling, and high-performance materials.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced business development and market activation skills, strengthen your ability to translate technical complexity into commercial growth, expand your professional network across regulated industries, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth while gaining exposure to strategic planning, product development, and emerging business models in the chemical industry.
🎯 Requirements
- • University degree (Bachelor level or higher), preferably in Engineering; MBA is a plus
- • Minimum 10 years of sales and business development experience in B2B environments such as chemicals, commercial refrigeration, cold storage, food retail, or heat pump industries
- • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with a consultative and customer-focused mindset
- • Fluent in Italian and English; additional European languages are an advantage
- • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across the EMEA region

- • Competitive compensation – fixed salary component around €80,000 to €87,000 per year including 13th month, excluding 11% bonus opportunity
