- • The Account Director, EMEA role at BetterUp is pivotal in driving the sales ecosystem for strategic accounts, combining new sales, account management, and customer success under a unified strategy to achieve growth and deepen client relationships.
- • Day to day, the person will develop account strategy with customer executives and leadership, own expansion and renewal targets, build new relationships in strategic accounts, lead commercial conversations, navigate matrixed organizations to identify internal champions, consult customers on Talent and HR strategy, serve as primary point of contact for member engagement, collaborate cross-functionally with post-sales, product, and engineering teams, and align on account opportunities and stakeholder identification.
- • BetterUp is a hybrid company focused on human transformation through AI-augmented coaching, offering employees personal coaching, development plans, trained managers, and a mission-driven culture where work is both impactful and fulfilling, with an expectation of at least two days per week in the London office hub.
- • In this role, the person can learn to lead complex enterprise sales cycles, deepen expertise in HR and talent transformation consulting, influence product roadmap through customer feedback, and grow as a strategic leader in a mission-driven, innovative organization that values emotional intelligence, continuous learning, and AI integration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 10 years sales experience, with 5+ years of enterprise consultative selling
- • Experience selling to CXOs at Fortune 500+
- • Track record of over-achieving, consistently ranking in the top 10-20% of the company
- • Experience personally leading and closing 6+ month, multi-buyer, $1M+ deals
- • Technical proficiency and specifically skilled using Salesforce to manage sales cycles
- • Exceptional executive presence (selling to CXO), compelling written and verbal communication
