- • As an Account Director focused on Life Sciences, you will own executive-level relationships with organizations across biopharma, medical technology, and life science services, helping them evaluate and deploy OpenAI's technology to accelerate R&D, improve clinical and regulatory workflows, and modernize commercial operations in highly regulated environments.
- • You will manage a focused portfolio of strategic life sciences accounts, develop long-term account plans mapping OpenAI capabilities to customer priorities, lead complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and partner with solutions, research, legal, security, and compliance teams to design secure, responsible AI deployments.
- • The Go To Market (GTM) team at OpenAI brings together Sales, Solutions, Support, Marketing, and Partnerships professionals to help customers understand, adopt, and deploy AI technology across important workflows, supporting the mission to build safe artificial general intelligence that benefits all of humanity.
- • In this role, you will achieve measurable business and scientific impact by identifying high-value AI use cases, owning revenue and expansion strategy, representing OpenAI at industry forums, and building a repeatable life sciences go-to-market motion through cross-functional collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • 14+ years selling complex enterprise software, cloud, AI, data, or platform solutions to life sciences customers
- • Proven success achieving and exceeding multi-million-dollar annual revenue targets in complex, regulated enterprise environments
- • Strong understanding of life sciences workflows such as drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory submissions, manufacturing, medical affairs, and commercial operations
- • Experience managing C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships across R&D, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, medical affairs, commercial, enterprise IT, security, and data organizations
- • Demonstrated ability to create account strategy, navigate large buying committees, build executive consensus, and close complex platform or transformation deals
- • Familiarity with data privacy, security, compliance, validation, GxP, and responsible AI considerations relevant to life sciences companies
