  • • As an Account Executive at Givebutter, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of empowering nonprofit organizations through innovative fundraising technology, directly contributing to the success of changemakers who rely on the platform to raise funds, manage donor relationships, and amplify their impact.
  • • You will own the full sales lifecycle for both inbound and outbound opportunities, driving net new business by identifying nonprofit needs, delivering tailored solutions, and closing deals that align with Givebutter’s vision of making fundraising simple, transparent, and impactful.
  • • You will join a mission-driven, high-performing sales team within a certified Great Place to Work® company recognized as the #1 nonprofit software provider on G2, where collaboration, empathy, and consultative selling are valued over aggressive tactics.
  • • Your day-to-day will involve running high-quality discovery calls with nonprofit leaders—including EDs, CEOs, board members, and development staff—to uncover fundraising goals, pain points, and decision criteria, then crafting and delivering customized product demos that showcase how Givebutter’s all-in-one platform replaces fragmented tools.
  • • You will actively manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent activity, accurate data in CRM (HubSpot), and timely progression of deals from prospect to close, while negotiating pricing and contract terms that balance customer needs with company sustainability.
  • • You will collaborate closely with SDRs to optimize lead handoff and feedback loops, partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term retention, and provide actionable insights to Product and Marketing teams based on frontline customer interactions and competitive intelligence.
  • • You will continuously deepen your understanding of Givebutter’s ideal customer profile—nonprofits of varying sizes and fundraising models—and evolve your consultative approach to recommend the right mix of donation forms, event ticketing, email/text blasts, and CRM features that drive measurable outcomes.
  • • You will uphold a strong sense of ownership and accountability, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and annual quotas through disciplined pipeline hygiene, proactive follow-ups, and a bias toward action, all while operating in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with evolving priorities.
  • • Through this role, you will develop advanced consultative selling skills in the SaaS space, gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration at a scaling mission-driven tech company, and build expertise in nonprofit technology trends—positioning yourself for leadership roles in sales, customer success, or revenue operations within the social impact sector.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of proven closing experience in SaaS, Fintech, or subscription-based sales, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota (ideally in the top 10% of performers, evidenced by awards like President’s Club or Winner’s Circle).
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage both inbound and outbound sales motions, including strong discovery skills, consultative selling approach, and comfort engaging executive-level stakeholders such as nonprofit EDs, CEOs, and board members.
  • • Proficiency with CRM and sales tools (HubSpot preferred), disciplined pipeline management, excellent written and verbal communication via phone/email/Zoom, and experience collaborating across teams including SDRs, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
