  • • The Prenatal Account Executive role at BilliontoOne is a field sales position focused on driving adoption of the company’s innovative prenatal diagnostic tests, specifically the UNITY Fetal Risk Screen, which is the first and only single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen. This role is critical to expanding access to life-changing molecular diagnostics in OBGYN, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM), and genetic counseling clinics across the Roanoke, VA territory.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include increasing test utilization through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors; identifying and managing relationships with key opinion leaders; prospecting and cultivating new business; maintaining existing client relationships; identifying commercial growth opportunities in hospitals and Federally Qualified Health Centers; creating and executing strategic business plans; managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure; and attending industry events, tradeshows, and conferences to network and promote the product.

  • • In this role, the Account Executive will develop deep expertise in prenatal and reproductive health diagnostics, sharpen consultative sales and strategic planning skills, gain experience in healthcare commercialization within a high-growth startup environment, and contribute directly to improving patient outcomes by bringing cutting-edge genetic screening tools to underserved communities. Success in this role can lead to advancement into senior specialist or managerial positions within the prenatal sales organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum three (3) years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector, calling on providers in a specified geographic territory
  • • Demonstrated successful sales track record with strong presentation, listening, and interpersonal skills, plus ability to assess and respond to customer needs
  • • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to present effectively to internal and external stakeholders
  • • Strong time management and prioritization abilities, with a results-oriented, self-motivated mindset and urgency to close business
  • • Working knowledge of HIPAA laws, patient privacy, and ethical handling of medical information
  • • Alignment with BilliontoOne’s mission, values, and professional code of conduct
