  • • Own the full B2B enterprise sales cycle for Cohere’s AI platform, from outbound lead generation to deal closure across Singapore and key ASEAN markets including financial services, manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, and the public sector.
  • • Drive net-new logo acquisition through strategic outbound business development and relationship building with C-suite and technical stakeholders.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers by deeply understanding their business challenges and tailoring Cohere’s AI solutions—such as content generation, semantic search, RAG, and agents—to deliver measurable business impact.
  • • Collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives to generate and qualify pipeline, ensuring consistent top-of-funnel activity and alignment with sales targets.
  • • Partner with channel partners to identify, nurture, and scale sales opportunities while enhancing customer satisfaction and revenue outcomes in the region.
  • • Work directly with Product and Engineering teams to translate customer feedback into product priorities, ensuring the Cohere roadmap remains customer-centric and aligned with enterprise needs.
  • • Develop and deliver customized value propositions that articulate the technical and business advantages of Cohere’s AI platform to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • Operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced, unstructured environment as an early sales hire, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • • Serve as the voice of the field by providing market intelligence and customer insights to inform product development, marketing strategy, and regional expansion plans.
  • • Maintain a deep curiosity and technical understanding of Agentic AI, NLP, and developer tools to confidently engage with enterprise buyers and articulate complex capabilities.
  • • Build and sustain strong relationships across cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales Engineering to ensure seamless customer experiences and deal momentum.
  • • Navigate complex enterprise procurement processes and negotiate large-scale contracts with a proven ability to close high-value deals.
  • • Embrace ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly evolving startup environment where initiative, adaptability, and ownership are critical to success.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of enterprise-level B2B sales experience with a track record of consistently overachieving quota
  • • Proven experience negotiating and closing large enterprise deals in technical domains such as developer tools, API products, or AI/NLP solutions
  • • Demonstrated success working with channel partners to drive joint sales cycles and achieve shared revenue goals
  • • High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to operate effectively as an early-stage, self-directed sales hire
  • • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives and bridge technical and non-technical audiences
  • • Curiosity and willingness to deeply learn Cohere’s AI technology, including Agentic AI and NLP
