• • As a Mobile Software Architect at Air Apps, you will lead the design of scalable and performant mobile architecture for our suite of applications, primarily focused on iOS, with cross-functional knowledge of Android considered a plus. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to craft elegant and efficient solutions that support millions of users globally, influencing the long-term evolution of our mobile ecosystem.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include defining and leading the mobile architecture strategy, focusing on iOS architecture, libraries, and platform-specific patterns while maintaining awareness of Android frameworks. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to align architectural decisions with product goals, establish and enforce coding standards and performance guidelines, lead architectural reviews, design reusable APIs and SDKs, guide third-party library and tooling decisions, partner with backend and cloud teams for seamless integration, stay current with mobile architecture trends, and mentor mobile engineers to elevate team technical proficiency.

This is a fully onsite position based in Lisbon, with support available for relocation.
