- • Own the full sales cycle from first cold outreach to signed contract and successful hand-off to Customer Success. You will source, qualify, pitch, negotiate, and close new logos while expanding existing accounts, carrying an annual quota that directly fuels Chalk’s next stage of growth.
- • Become the trusted advisor to data scientists, ML engineers, CTOs, and VPs of Engineering at high-growth start-ups and Fortune 500 enterprises. You will translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, mapping Chalk’s blazing-fast feature store and real-time streaming engine to each prospect’s fraud-detection, identity-verification, or energy-optimization use cases.
- • Build and run a disciplined, data-driven pipeline in HubSpot. You will prospect into target verticals (fintech, marketplaces, energy, ad-tech), design multi-threaded outreach sequences, and run high-impact demos that showcase sub-millisecond latency benchmarks and elegant Python/Rust SDKs.
- • Collaborate tightly with Founders, Product, and Solutions Engineering to shape roadmap priorities. Your front-line feedback on buyer objections, competitive gaps, and pricing sensitivity will directly influence what we ship next and how we package it.
- • Architect complex enterprise agreements that balance usage-based pricing with long-term commitments. You will draft MSA, SOW, and security addendum language, coordinate red-lines with legal, and shepherd deals through procurement and InfoSec reviews without slowing momentum.
- • Deliver compelling ROI models and business cases that turn technical champions into economic buyers. You will quantify cost savings from retiring legacy Spark clusters, revenue lift from real-time fraud models, and carbon-reduction gains from optimized energy dispatch.
- • Plan and execute quarterly territory campaigns that combine field events, webinars, and account-based plays. You will partner with Marketing to craft persona-specific content and leverage customer case studies that prove 10× performance improvements over incumbent solutions.
- • Mentor junior AEs and SDRs by sharing battle cards, objection-handling scripts, and closing tactics. You will run weekly pipeline reviews, forecast with 95 % accuracy, and raise the bar for transparency and rigor across the go-to-market org.
- • Travel up to 25 % for on-site workshops, QBRs, and industry conferences (KubCon, MLConf, Money20/20). You will represent Chalk on stage and in boardrooms, evangelizing the shift from batch-oriented ML pipelines to real-time, streaming-first architectures.
- • Report directly to the VP of Sales and sit on the GTM leadership team. Your wins will be celebrated company-wide, and your strategic insights will shape pricing, packaging, and vertical expansion for the next $100 M ARR chapter.
