  • • As an Account Executive at Bastion Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in the midmarket segment by owning the full sales cycle for its regulated stablecoin infrastructure platform. This role is critical to proving and scaling a repeatable sales motion that will define how Bastion sells to enterprises and financial institutions for years to come, directly influencing product strategy, pricing, and go-to-market decisions based on real-world customer feedback.
  • • You will prospect, qualify, discover, negotiate, and close deals with midmarket clients seeking to issue stablecoins, manage reserves, and enable cross-border transactions, while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration and successful go-live — your success is measured not just by closed deals, but by clients achieving live production volume on Bastion’s platform.
  • • Bastion is a fast-moving startup backed by a NYDFS-chartered trust company, enabling regulated stablecoin issuance and custody for financial institutions and enterprises; joining now means you’ll help shape the sales function from the ground up in a hybrid New York City-based role with significant autonomy and impact.
  • • In your first 30 days, you will deepen your understanding of Bastion’s product capabilities, regulatory positioning (including the significance of its NYDFS trust charter), and existing customer use cases; you’ll map the midmarket landscape to identify high-propensity segments, build target account lists, test messaging, and begin outbound prospecting to book discovery calls and potentially secure your first signed customer.
  • • By day 90, you will be running full-cycle deals independently — managing prospecting through close — while coordinating cross-functional execution without over-reliance, maintaining rigorous CRM hygiene, and actively driving clients toward integration and live volume; you’ll begin documenting patterns in messaging, objections, and integration needs to refine the sales motion.
  • • By day 180, you will have established a repeatable pipeline, helped get multiple clients live in production with growing transaction volumes, hardened sales assets (talk tracks, playbooks, competitive positioning), and contributed directly to pricing and packaging strategy based on in-market learning, becoming a trusted voice of the midmarket customer inside Bastion.
  • • You will tackle unique challenges such as educating buyers on nascent stablecoin infrastructure, navigating long and compliance-sensitive sales cycles, balancing short-term volume with long-term account expansion, and helping define pricing in a market without benchmarks — all while ensuring regulatory credibility is communicated effectively without being a compliance expert.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in full-cycle sales, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, or regulated technology environments, with a track record of prospecting, negotiating, and closing complex enterprise deals.
  • • Strong ability to learn and articulate technical product value propositions, particularly around blockchain, stablecoins, or financial infrastructure, to non-technical stakeholders such as product leaders and fintech operators.
  • • Demonstrated skill in managing cross-functional deal execution, including the ability to coordinate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Finance teams to drive deals from signature to live production.
  • • Experience building and managing a sales pipeline in a CRM (e.g., Salesforce), with disciplined hygiene practices and a focus on forecasting accuracy and deal progression.
  • • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments where processes are evolving, and the ability to create structure from chaos while contributing to scalable sales motions.
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate buyers on complex regulatory and technical topics without overwhelming them, and to build trust through credible, consultative conversations.
