  • • As an Agentic AI Account Executive at Workato, you will play a pivotal role in scaling a new global business unit focused on helping enterprises achieve rapid ROI from AI and AI agents through the Agentic Platform. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role within a 'startup within the startup' environment, where you will drive both cross-sell opportunities within existing Workato customers and pursue new logo acquisition.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities include owning the full sales lifecycle — from pipeline generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sales growth — while deeply understanding the Workato platform and Agentic/AI solutions to act as a trusted advisor. You will engage in proactive discovery of customer needs, initiate challenging conversations to build credibility with key stakeholders, and continuously update your knowledge to remain a authoritative voice in AI-driven automation.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and core sales teams to align go-to-market strategies and support the broader Workato sales motion. The role operates within a fully distributed team model, requiring 20-30% travel for internal alignment, customer engagements, and industry events, with a preference for candidates based in Germany working remotely.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to grow alongside a high-performing team that values ownership, innovation, and accountability. You will develop expert-level expertise in enterprise AI adoption, refine advanced consultative selling techniques, and contribute directly to the scaling of a cutting-edge AI product line within a recognized leader in enterprise automation.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5-10 years of experience in a closing role, with startup or scaleup experience preferred
  • • Working experience with or equivalent knowledge of GenAI and AI agents
  • • Experience selling to enterprise organizations and engaging with senior executives
  • • Proven track record of consistent performance and effective problem-solving in prior roles
  • • Fluency in both German and English; additional proficiency in Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Danish is preferred
  • • Demonstrated curiosity, resilience, accountability, and a innovative mindset (embodying the 'Student, Sleeve roller, Competitor, Maverick' traits)
