- • As an Account Executive in the Automotive Vertical at Conversica, you will be responsible for driving net-new business growth by targeting mid-market dealer groups with 5–25 rooftops across the United States. This role is critical to expanding Conversica’s market presence in the automotive sector by leveraging AI-powered conversational solutions that help dealerships improve lead engagement, increase sales efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
- • You will own the full sales cycle for new business acquisition (80% of focus), including prospecting, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing, while also identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities within existing accounts (20%). Success in this role requires a consultative selling approach, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to articulate the value of AI-driven automation in a virtual-first environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and identifying target accounts within the automotive dealer landscape, conducting outbound outreach via email, phone, and video conferencing, and managing a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools. You will engage stakeholders such as general managers, sales directors, and marketing leaders to understand their pain points and demonstrate how Conversica’s AI assistants can automate lead follow-up, re-engage dormant leads, and improve appointment setting rates.
- • You will collaborate closely with the Manager, Automotive Vertical and a dedicated team of Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless handoffs, align on account strategy, and support post-sale adoption and retention. This partnership ensures that sold solutions are implemented effectively and deliver measurable ROI, fostering long-term customer relationships.
- • You will leverage storytelling and compelling presentation skills to deliver virtual demonstrations and executive-level conversations that build trust and credibility without relying on in-person meetings. Your ability to adapt messaging to different buyer personas and navigate complex sales cycles in a remote setting will be key to achieving quota and driving consistent performance.
- • You will stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in automotive retail and AI, using this knowledge to differentiate Conversica’s solutions and position them as essential tools for modern dealership operations.
