Hive Technologies Inc. is seeking a high-performing Account Executive to join our dynamic, remote team in Canada. This is a unique opportunity to own the full sales cycle, from generating your own pipeline through strategic prospecting to negotiating and closing deals, all within the exciting and rapidly growing event marketing technology space.

- • As a full-cycle Account Executive, you will be the architect of your own success. Your primary responsibility will be to build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients. This involves a proactive and aggressive outbound strategy, leveraging a variety of channels including cold calling, personalized email campaigns, engaging video outreach, and strategic LinkedIn engagement. You will be expected to consistently drive activity and identify new business opportunities.
- • A critical part of your role will be conducting high-impact discovery calls and compelling product demonstrations. You will need to skillfully uncover customer pain points and articulate how Hive's innovative solutions directly address those challenges, showcasing the tangible value and ROI our platform delivers. Your ability to translate technical features into business benefits will be key to your success.
- • We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing your own territory and sales process, requiring a high degree of self-motivation, discipline, and accountability. Precision and accountability in managing your pipeline within Salesforce (or a similar CRM) will be paramount to tracking progress and ensuring accurate forecasting.

You will need to prioritize effectively, adapt quickly to market dynamics and customer needs, and execute your sales strategies with a sense of urgency. The ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and maintain momentum throughout the sales cycle is essential.

You will work closely with our Marketing and Customer Success teams to refine our Go-To-Market (GTM) playbook, share insights from the front lines, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales processes and strategies. This cross-functional partnership will ensure a cohesive and effective approach to customer acquisition and retention.
- • Accurate forecasting and consistent achievement of your sales quota are fundamental expectations for this role. 🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, with a preference for experience in a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
- • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a previous role.
- • Demonstrated ability to generate and manage your own sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, social selling).
- • Proficiency with CRM software, specifically Salesforce or a comparable platform, for pipeline management and forecasting.
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly with prospects.
- • A highly motivated, self-starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership and a competitive, goal-driven mindset.

- • Uncapped earning potential with a competitive compensation structure: $70,000 CAD base salary, $50,000 CAD variable pay, for an on-target-earning potential of $120,000 CAD.
