  • • As an Account Executive, Commercial - Mid Atlantic at Zscaler, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by securing new enterprise customers and expanding relationships with existing clients across the Mid-Atlantic region. Your work directly contributes to Zscaler’s mission of securing the AI age through its Zero Trust Exchange platform, helping organizations become more agile, resilient, and secure in an increasingly cloud-driven world.
  • • You will be responsible for building and nurturing strategic relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers, developing long-term account strategies aligned with customer business objectives, collaborating cross-functionally with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor who deeply understands client challenges and maps Zscaler’s security offerings to their strategic goals.

  • • In this role, you will develop advanced enterprise sales expertise, master consultative selling techniques for complex security solutions, gain deep exposure to Fortune 500 and mid-market organizations undergoing digital transformation, and build a track record of driving multi-year, multi-product deals that significantly impact both customer outcomes and Zscaler’s market leadership.
  • • You will drive full-cycle sales engagements from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing, leveraging MEDDPICC or similar methodologies to manage complex sales cycles. This includes conducting discovery workshops, delivering executive-level presentations, responding to RFPs/RFIs, coordinating proof-of-concept initiatives, and ensuring seamless handoff to customer success post-close.
  • • You will partner closely with Sales Engineers to design customized Zero Trust architectures addressing client-specific use cases such as secure web gateway, cloud firewall, ZTNA, and data protection. Your ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes will be critical in influencing buying decisions.
  • • You will maintain accurate sales forecasts in CRM (Salesforce), update opportunity stages regularly, and contribute to quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with leadership, demonstrating disciplined pipeline management and forecast integrity.
  • • You will actively participate in regional sales initiatives, partner enablement programs, and marketing campaigns to generate pipeline, while also contributing to the refinement of sales playbooks and go-to-market strategies based on field feedback.
  • • You will stay current on evolving cybersecurity threats, regulatory trends (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC), and competitive landscapes to position Zscaler effectively as the preferred cloud security partner.
  • • You will embody Zscaler’s values of ownership, learning, and collaboration—seeking feedback, sharing best practices, and supporting peers to elevate team performance while maintaining a growth mindset focused on continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience within the software or security industry
  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • • Progressive selling experience engaging with mid-market and enterprise accounts, including experience managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles
