Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise prospects across the DACH region, guiding them from first discovery call to signed contract and successful onboarding onto Remote’s Global HR Platform.
- • Become the trusted advisor for HR, Finance, and Legal leaders who need to hire, pay, and manage talent in 180+ countries without setting up local entities—translating complex global employment challenges into clear, compliant, and scalable solutions.
- • Qualify high-intent inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns, webinars, and partner referrals; run consultative discovery sessions to uncover pain points around entity setup, payroll, benefits, equity, and contractor misclassification.
- • Build and deliver tailored product demonstrations that showcase Remote’s Employer of Record, Contractor Management, Global Payroll, and Remote Talent products; map features to the prospect’s hiring roadmap and compliance obligations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- • Develop multi-threaded relationships across stakeholders—CHROs, CFOs, VP People, General Counsel—navigating procurement, security reviews, and legal negotiations to keep deals moving and close within 45-90 days.
- • Negotiate commercial terms while upholding Remote’s fair-price guarantee and transparent pricing philosophy; draft proposals, MSAs, and SOWs that balance customer value with company margin targets and long-term expansion potential.
- • Collaborate daily with Solutions Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to craft country-specific employment agreements, benefits packages, and IP-protection clauses that satisfy Works Council requirements, GDPR, and Swiss data-privacy laws.
- • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene in HubSpot—logging activities, forecasting pipeline within 10% accuracy, and providing closed-loop feedback to Marketing on lead quality, messaging resonance, and competitive intel.
- • Contribute to DACH go-to-market strategy by attending industry events (Personalmessen, SaaStr Europa, HRTech Germany), hosting virtual roundtables, and co-creating localized content with the Demand Generation team.
- • Act as the voice of the customer back to Product, surfacing feature gaps and localization needs (e.g., mandatory German pension schemes, Austrian 13th/14th salary cycles) that influence the 12-month roadmap.
- • Mentor junior AEs and SDRs on MEDDPICC methodology, objection handling, and cultural nuances of selling into Germanic markets; host weekly deal clinics and German-language role-plays.
- • Exceed quarterly ARR quotas of €400-600k while maintaining >90% logo retention and >120% net revenue retention in your first year.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience closing €50k+ ARR deals over the phone and video in the DACH market

- • Proven track record of exceeding €400k+ annual quotas and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with HR/Finance/Legal buyers
- • Deep familiarity with German, Austrian, and Swiss employment law, payroll, and benefits landscapes—ability to speak credibly about social security contributions, works councils, and GDPR
- • Comfortable working fully remote across European time zones; self-directed with strong written communication and HubSpot/Salesforce CRM hygiene

- • Work from anywhere with a generous home-office stipend and quarterly team off-sites in rotating European cities
- • Competitive uncapped commission plan with accelerators beyond 100% quota and equity in a fast-growing global HR tech unicorn
