📋 Description
- • As an Account Executive in Employee Benefits at One80 Intermediaries, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, driving revenue growth and managing a book of business exceeding $1M while acting as a trusted advisor on health and welfare benefit strategies.
- • You will develop and execute client benefit strategies by researching, analyzing, and evaluating medical, life, disability, and other benefit plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while serving as the subject matter expert for clients and carrier partners.
- • Day to day, you will manage and grow your book of business, lead RFPs and renewal processes including carrier negotiations, project manage deliverables using systems like BenefitPoint and AMS, and provide indirect supervision to team members by reviewing work, delegating tasks, and mentoring junior staff.
- • You will proactively advise clients on industry trends, regulatory updates (including HealthCare Reform), and strategic solutions to address evolving needs, applying underwriting fundamentals to explain funding options, rate impacts, and cost drivers.
- • You will build and maintain strong, reference-ready relationships with clients, prospects, and carrier partners, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables while leveraging internal tools to maximize efficiency and support prospecting efforts for new business.
- • You will collaborate with producers and team members to assist in prospecting new clients, including developing proposals, and contribute to team success by sharing expertise and supporting collective goals.

🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree preferred
- • Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required
- • 5+ years of health & welfare experience meeting or exceeding core practice competency-based skills
- • Client-facing experience in the employee benefit industry
- • Technical knowledge of benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, carrier products and services
