đź“‹ Description

  • • As an Account Executive on Yondr’s Education Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s mission to create phone-free spaces in schools across Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas by building trusted relationships with K-12 institutions and driving revenue growth through strategic outreach and consultative sales.
  • • You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities with individual schools and school districts, managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation while ensuring seamless handoff to implementation teams for optimal customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
  • • Yondr is a mission-driven organization that partners with educators, artists, and organizations to foster environments where authentic human connection, focus, and creativity thrive without digital distractions — your work will directly contribute to improving student well-being and classroom engagement in communities across the Southeast.
  • • Your day-to-day will involve proactive outbound outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings, combined with strategic in-person visits to schools and district offices to understand unique challenges and tailor Yondr’s phone-free solutions to meet institutional needs.
  • • You will consistently monitor and nurture a healthy sales pipeline by responding to inbound leads, proactively researching and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and leveraging existing partnerships to generate referrals and warm introductions that accelerate deal velocity.
  • • A core part of your role will be preparing and delivering customized, data-informed presentations to school administrators, boards, and decision-makers that clearly articulate the educational, behavioral, and social benefits of Yondr’s programs, supported by real-world case studies and implementation insights.
  • • You will represent Yondr at regional and national education conferences, trade shows, and professional gatherings — including occasional weekend travel — to boost brand visibility, network with key stakeholders, and capture emerging opportunities in the K-12 space.
  • • You will negotiate contracts and pricing structures with prospective clients, balancing flexibility with company goals to close deals that are both mutually beneficial and aligned with Yondr’s values of accessibility and impact.
  • • Close collaboration with the Implementation and Account Leadership teams will be essential to ensure smooth onboarding, timely deployment of equipment and training, and ongoing support that drives high satisfaction, renewal rates, and advocacy from partner schools.
  • • You will maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline stages in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy for forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement of sales strategies.
  • • Ongoing professional development will be encouraged and supported, including training on consultative selling techniques, product updates, and evolving trends in education technology and student wellness to keep your approach sharp and relevant.
  • • Beyond core sales duties, you may contribute to special projects that advance Yondr’s broader mission — such as refining sales playbooks, supporting marketing initiatives, or piloting new outreach tactics in underserved districts.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in B2B or solution-based selling environments
  • • Demonstrated background or direct experience in educational sales, with a focus on K-12 institutions and understanding of school procurement processes
  • • Proven track record in lead generation, cold calling, prospecting, and pipeline development through self-directed outreach efforts
  • • Strong consultative and relationship-driven sales approach, with exceptional interpersonal skills and a preference for in-person engagement
  • • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ability to maintain accurate, detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions
  • • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • • Deep empathy, active listening skills, and a natural ability to build trust quickly with educators, administrators, and internal cross-functional teams
  • • Genuine alignment with Yondr’s mission to promote real-world human connection and reduce reliance on screens in educational settings

🏖️ Benefits

  • • 100% employer-paid medical coverage with access to 15+ plan options including PPO, HMO, and HDHP, ensuring comprehensive healthcare access for you and your dependents
  • • Dental and vision insurance, plus ancillary benefits such as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and employee assistance programs
  • • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy to support rest, recharge, and work-life balance throughout the year
  • • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for new parents, supporting family bonding and transition after birth or adoption
  • • Company-wide holiday closure with one week of paid time off at year-end, plus 11 additional nationally recognized holidays observed annually
  • • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching to help you build long-term financial security
  • • Flexible tech stipend allowing you to choose your preferred work device — either a PC or Mac — to support your productivity and comfort
  • • Hybrid work model with remote flexibility; hybrid employees receive weekly catered lunches when working from company hubs
  • • Ongoing access to professional development, training, and industry events to grow your skills and stay ahead in the education sales landscape
