- • As an Account Executive in Alan’s Retail Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Alan’s presence in the French retail sector by engaging with HR executives, CEOs, and decision-makers in food distribution, fashion, e-commerce, luxury, and bricolage companies. Your work directly contributes to Alan’s mission of transforming health benefits from a cost center into a strategic investment for employers, helping people live healthier lives to 100 while reducing claims costs through preventive care and seamless healthcare integration.
- • You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, managing deals with companies ranging from 20 to 600 employees and an average ARR of 150K€, with a typical 6-month sales cycle. This includes identifying and qualifying prospects in the retail segment, delivering inspiring product demos using Alan’s Smart & Soft selling method, educating stakeholders on the value of preventive healthcare, and ensuring seamless onboarding by aligning cross-functional teams. You will also gather feedback to influence product and strategy improvements, helping Alan refine its offerings for retail clients.
- • You will join a passionate, 10-person Retail Sales team that has deep expertise in food distribution, fashion, e-commerce, luxury, and bricolage sectors. This team operates within Alan’s broader sales organization, which has grown from €0 to €30M ARR in just four years, demonstrating strong traction and scalability. The team values distributed ownership, radical transparency, and continuous growth, fostering an environment where your decisions directly impact outcomes and your development is actively supported.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced consultative selling skills tailored to traditional retail sectors, master Alan’s proprietary Smart & Soft methodology that balances instructional guidance with personalized, high-touch engagement, and gain deep insight into recurring revenue business models in the health tech space. You will also grow your ability to influence complex buying committees, navigate long sales cycles, and contribute to company-wide initiatives that drive innovation in customer acquisition and retention.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 4 years of experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with proven success in B2B sales.
- • Full working proficiency in French (C2 level or higher) and advanced English proficiency.
- • Strong interest in and understanding of the retail sector, particularly food distribution, fashion, e-commerce, luxury, or bricolage industries.
