  • • Own and close a high volume of SMB and mid-market deals end-to-end for Clay’s GTM platform
  • • Help customers discover and adopt Clay use cases that directly map to their unique go-to-market motion
  • • Run fast, consultative sales cycles that balance speed with deep product understanding and genuine customer insight
  • • Provide technical guidance during the sales process, meeting customers where they are in their technical knowledge and workflow
  • • Collaborate with product teams to translate real-time customer feedback into actionable feature improvements and product enhancements
  • • Develop and refine consultative selling skills while staying at the forefront of emerging sales technologies and AI-driven GTM tools
  • • Sell to hundreds of SMB and mid-market customers each quarter, helping them integrate Clay into their existing revenue stack
  • • Identify how Clay creates value for prospects by quickly understanding their revenue operations, data workflows, and growth strategies
  • • Act as a bridge between customers and product, ensuring customer pain points and feature requests directly inform product roadmaps
  • • Maintain a bias toward experimentation, constantly testing new approaches to outreach, qualification, and closing in SMB sales cycles
  • • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and enthusiastically to non-technical buyers and stakeholders
  • • Leverage curiosity to continuously learn about new GTM tactics, AI applications in sales, and evolving market signals
  • • Work alongside a team of diverse GTM professionals including ex-product managers, founders, BDRs, and growth hackers
  • • Contribute to a culture that treats go-to-market as a creative, iterative product — not a fixed formula
  • • Participate in a high-performing sales team recognized as Clay’s highest-volume motion, with proven track records of rapid growth and internal mobility
  • • Learn how top-tier tech companies like Anthropic, Notion, Google, and Ramp use Clay to find their GTM Alpha
  • • Engage with a community of 11,000+ customers, 150+ integration partners, and 30k Slack members to deepen product and market understanding

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of GTM experience (Sales, RevOps, Growth, Marketing) or a technical role (Product, Solutions/Sales Engineering)
  • • Experience with Clay or relevant GTM tools
  • • High business IQ: ability to quickly understand a prospect’s GTM motion and identify where Clay creates value
  • • Creative and resourceful with a bias toward experimentation and using AI tools in your own work
  • • Clear and enthusiastic communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical users
  • • Curiosity that doesn’t quit — motivated by learning something new every day
