  • • As an Account Executive II (Pro) at Teamworks Technologies, Inc., you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing how professional sports organizations operate and compete. This pivotal role focuses on the burgeoning professional sports landscape across leagues such as MLS, NWSL, WNBA, CFL, USL, and junior hockey. You will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of owning the complete sales cycle for Teamworks' comprehensive suite of products – Operations, Performance, Personnel, Coaching, and Intelligence – within these dynamic and rapidly evolving markets.
  • • Your primary mission will be to cultivate and deepen relationships with existing professional sports teams, ensuring seamless renewals and identifying strategic upsell opportunities. Simultaneously, you will be a pioneer, actively seeking out and developing new business prospects within these leagues. This involves understanding the unique challenges and aspirations of teams as they professionalize operations, invest in performance infrastructure, and build out advanced analytics departments.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact and the face of Teamworks at high-profile industry events, including MLS showcases, NWSL summits, and WNBA conferences. Your ability to build rapport and trust with key decision-makers – such as Assistant General Managers (AGMs), Performance Directors, and analytics leaders – will be paramount to your success.
  • • A core aspect of this role involves mastering and independently executing internal sales fundamentals. This includes meticulous Salesforce hygiene, crafting compelling proposals, efficiently executing agreements, and proactively managing your sales pipeline without the need for constant supervision. Your organizational prowess and attention to detail will be key to driving consistent progress and closing deals.
  • • You will be empowered to build and leverage an extensive network within the target leagues. This proactive approach will enable you to identify emerging opportunities, facilitate crucial introductions, and significantly accelerate deal cycles. Your understanding of the sports ecosystem and your ability to connect with the right people will be invaluable.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with internal product experts, including specialists in Strength & Conditioning, Athletic Management Systems (AMS), and Nutrition. While these experts will provide deep product insights, you will retain ownership of the overall customer relationship, ensuring that product conversations are strategically aligned with the teams' renewal cycles and overarching business objectives.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve positioning our cutting-edge Intelligence and Personnel products. As teams increasingly invest in analytics capabilities, you will be instrumental in demonstrating how Teamworks can provide them with a competitive edge. A key performance indicator will be closing at least one Intelligence or Personnel deal by the end of your first year, showcasing your ability to drive adoption of our advanced solutions.
  • • You will proactively engage with teams across your designated territory to gain a comprehensive understanding of their current analytics sophistication, existing technology stack, and their readiness to adopt advanced Intelligence and Personnel solutions. This deep understanding will allow you to tailor your approach and effectively communicate the value proposition of Teamworks.
  • • You will be responsible for managing your Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and pipeline targets, contributing directly to the company's aggressive expansion strategy across these emerging professional sports markets. Your success will lay the groundwork for sustained growth and market leadership in year two and beyond.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the growth trajectory of Teamworks within these vital sports verticals. You will have the autonomy to define and execute strategies, becoming the trusted partner for teams that are actively redefining their competitive strategies through technology and data.
