📋 Description
- • As an Account Executive - IMB Sales at nCino, you will drive net-new sales to financial institutions and expand relationships within your assigned territory, directly contributing to the company’s mission as the worldwide leader in cloud banking by helping financial institutions modernize their operations through innovative, scalable solutions.
- • You will identify and target prospective nCino customers in the Independent Mortgage Bank (IMB) segment across the Mid-West region, challenging them to adopt transformative technology that improves efficiency, compliance, and customer experience in mortgage lending.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closure — while maintaining a robust pipeline to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- • You will employ a consultative sales approach, leveraging deep knowledge of nCino’s cloud banking platform and its integration with Salesforce.com to uncover client needs, demonstrate value, and position solutions that address specific pain points in loan origination, servicing, and financial management.
- • A critical part of your role involves mapping complex decision-making processes within client organizations, identifying key stakeholders and ‘mobilizers,’ building consensus across executive levels, and negotiating contracts that align with both client goals and nCino’s commercial objectives.
- • You will collaborate closely with inside sales, marketing, product, professional services, and Customer Success teams to ensure messaging consistency, seamless handoffs, and coordinated efforts that drive adoption and expansion within existing accounts.
- • Beyond new logo acquisition, you will actively grow nCino’s footprint within current clients by selling newly released products, partnering with Customer Success to increase product utilization, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities that deepen relationships and increase lifetime value.
- • You will represent nCino’s brand with professionalism and passion in your territory, participating in industry events, client meetings, and strategic initiatives that elevate the company’s presence in the IMB and broader financial services market.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- • 4+ years of experience in sales, with proven success in the Independent Mortgage Bank (IMB) sector or closely related financial services vertical
- • Demonstrated ability to sell complex software solutions to C-suite executives, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, and comfort delivering presentations both onsite and virtually
- • Proven track record of collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams (product, services, support, finance) to achieve sales goals and ensure customer success
- • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time within the Mid-West United States to engage clients, attend meetings, and close deals
