  • • Own the full sales cycle for enterprise B2B accounts in Japan, from outbound prospecting and pipeline building to closing complex deals and identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • • Develop and execute a territory plan targeting companies with 5,000+ FTEs, focusing on HR, Learning & Development (L&D), and Talent departments to sell Speak for Business (S4B), Speak AI’s enterprise language learning solution.
  • • Conduct disciplined discovery and value-based selling with executive decision-makers, positioning Speak AI as a strategic investment in workforce language proficiency and business enablement.
  • • Manage multi-month sales cycles (3–12 months) end-to-end, including outbound campaigns, SDR coordination, product trials, business case development, proposal submission, negotiation, and contract finalization.
  • • Multi-thread relationships across senior levels within target organizations to uncover pain points, align Speak’s solution with corporate priorities, and secure buy-in from stakeholders beyond HR.
  • • Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers, Sales Development Representatives, Marketing, and Product teams to align messaging, accelerate deal progression, and ensure seamless customer onboarding.
  • • Strengthen executive relationships through in-person meetings, industry events, and strategic networking across Tokyo’s corporate landscape.
  • • Analyze market signals and competitive dynamics to adapt sales strategies, refine targeting, and contribute to the evolution of Speak’s B2B go-to-market motion in Japan.
  • • Communicate fluently and professionally in business English with Speak’s global team, including cross-functional partners in San Francisco, Seoul, and other international offices.
  • • Leverage modern AI-powered sales tech stack tools to track pipeline, forecast accurately, and optimize outreach efficiency.
  • • Contribute to scaling Speak’s B2B division in Japan, one of the company’s key growth engines, by helping shape the sales playbook and establish Speak as the leading AI-driven language solution for enterprises.
  • • Serve as a founding member of Speak Japan’s B2B sales team, with direct influence on product-market fit, customer feedback loops, and regional expansion strategy.
  • • Travel as needed for client meetings, industry conferences, and cross-regional collaboration with global teams in Korea, Taiwan, and the U.S.
  • • Maintain a consistent record of exceeding net-new ARR targets by generating your own pipeline and closing complex enterprise contracts.
  • • Translate customer insights into product and content feedback, directly influencing the development of Speak for Business features and curriculum to better serve Japanese enterprise needs.
  • • Act as the primary voice of the customer within Speak, ensuring enterprise needs are reflected in internal discussions across Engineering, Product, and Content teams.
  • • Embrace a fast-paced, evolving environment where early-stage initiatives require adaptability, initiative, and ownership beyond a traditional sales role.
