- • As a Senior Sales Engineer, Strategic (EMEA - English) at Docker Inc., you will serve as a critical technical seller supporting the company’s most strategic accounts by shaping technical requirements early in complex sales cycles and influencing outcomes through deep technical discovery and value-based selling.
- • Day to day, you will lead technical discovery with Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI/ML teams to understand AI governance, software supply chain risk, and compliance needs; design and execute PoCs/PoVs focused on policy enforcement, image integrity, SBOM visibility, and secure build pipelines; translate technical capabilities into business value narratives for CISOs and AI leaders; and partner with Account Executives to develop technical win strategies in competitive deals.
- • You will join a globally distributed, remote-first team at Docker, a trusted leader in developer tooling used by over 20 million monthly users and responsible for over 20 billion container image pulls, where you’ll operate at the intersection of technical depth, business acumen, and competitive selling discipline to support autonomous workflows in the AI era.
- • In this role, you will build credibility as a trusted advisor on responsible AI development, secure software supply chains, and DevSecOps best practices; expand relationships with technical champions across security and platform teams; advocate for customer needs with Product and Engineering; and develop reusable technical assets to scale impact — all while gaining expertise in AI governance, container security, and enterprise sales strategy at a company shaping the future of software delivery.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in complex enterprise sales
- • Full professional fluency in French and English is mandatory
- • Strong experience running competitive PoCs/PoVs with clearly defined success and exit criteria
- • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures
- • Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or adjacent technologies strongly preferred
- • Development, Agentic AI dev, Software Development Lifecycle and/or Software Supply Chain experience strongly preferred
- • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
- • Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 25%
