  • • As an Account Executive for VSP Vision’s Lab division, you will drive sales and service of Optics’ branded products and services by managing existing accounts and developing new prospects within the private practice theater across Illinois. This role is critical to increasing product adoption among eye care professionals and expanding VSP’s market presence in a defined territory.
  • • Day to day, you will formulate and implement strategic business plans tailored to individual accounts, cultivate strong relationships with doctors and their staff, educate customers on industry trends and new lens products, maintain up-to-date product knowledge, act as a liaison between the Lab and customers to ensure service expectations are met, collaborate with marketing and product development teams, document sales activities, monitor account growth, and deliver presentations to medical teams of varying sizes.
  • • You will join a dedicated team at VSP Vision, a national leader in vision care and eyewear benefits, committed to improving access to quality eye care. The Lab division focuses on delivering premium lens innovations and technical support to independent eye care providers, enabling them to offer advanced solutions to their patients.
  • • In this role, you will develop advanced consultative selling skills, deepen your expertise in ophthalmic products and market dynamics, strengthen your ability to build and manage strategic client relationships, and gain experience in translating market data into actionable sales strategies—positioning you for growth into senior sales or account leadership roles within the organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • • Two years or more direct outside sales experience
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • • Demonstrated track record meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility
  • • Must travel more than 50% of the time
  • • Clean DMV record
