  • • As an Account Executive in the Mid-Market segment at Airwallex, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for a rapidly scaling global fintech leader, selling unified payments and financial solutions to mid-sized enterprises with 500–2,000 employees and a target ACV of $100k. You will be part of the founding Go-To-Market (GTM) team for Airwallex’s US Mid-Market business, reporting directly to the Head of Mid-Market, and will have the unique opportunity to shape the sales strategy, processes, and culture from the ground up in a high-impact, high-visibility role.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, identifying and researching new target accounts using data-driven insights and support from the strategy and sales enablement teams, developing tailored outreach and engagement strategies, conducting product demonstrations in collaboration with solution engineers, uncovering customer pain points through consultative selling methodologies, articulating Airwallex’s differentiated value proposition around global payments infrastructure, spend management, and treasury solutions, building and managing a robust sales pipeline, establishing repeatable best practices for the emerging US sales organization, providing accurate and timely forecasting and reporting in Salesforce against KPIs and quotas, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and strategy teams to relay customer feedback and influence product roadmap decisions.
  • • You will join a dynamic, ambitious, and innovative GTM team focused on transforming financial operations for mid-market companies operating globally. Airwallex’s Mid-Market segment targets one of the most vital sectors of the US economy — companies representing approximately one-third of U.S. GDP — and equips them with enterprise-grade financial tools typically reserved for larger corporations. The team is founder-minded, execution-oriented, and deeply committed to helping clients scale without borders through seamless, integrated financial infrastructure.
  • • In this role, you will accelerate your professional growth by mastering complex enterprise sales in a high-growth fintech environment, developing deep expertise in global payments, spend management, and treasury solutions, refining your consultative and solution-selling skills, gaining exposure to C-level and finance executive stakeholders, and contributing to the early-stage development of a strategic sales organization backed by a $8B-valued company with strong investor support and a mission to redefine global business finance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5 years of quota-carrying direct SaaS sales experience in a full-cycle closing role with proven skills in prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals
  • • Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including experience closing 10–15 deals annually with a $100k target ACV
  • • Experience with outbound prospecting and conducting product demonstrations alongside solution engineers, using structured sales methodologies to uncover customer needs and articulate value propositions
