Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and grow a dedicated New York K-12 territory for Wayground, the global learning platform trusted by 75 million monthly active users in 100 countries and used in over 90% of U.S. K-12 schools. You will be the face of Wayground to superintendents, curriculum directors, IT leaders, and classroom teachers, translating their instructional challenges into measurable outcomes with our award-winning SaaS solutions.
- • Design and execute a full-cycle territory strategy that blends inbound demand with proactive outbound prospecting. From first discovery call to signed multi-year district-wide contract, you will map buying committees, craft tailored value propositions, and run consultative demos that show exactly how Wayground increases student engagement and teacher efficacy.
- • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining 95% forecast accuracy in Salesforce. You will build and rigorously manage a pipeline 3-4x quota, leverage MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies, and use real-time data dashboards to prioritize the highest-impact opportunities.
- • Collaborate daily with Sales Development, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams. You will quarterback RFP responses, coordinate on-site pilots, and feed market insights back to product managers so that our roadmap stays laser-focused on educator needs.
- • Deliver compelling virtual and in-person presentations to audiences ranging from a single principal to a 50-person district steering committee. You will tell stories with data—showing how peer districts raised assessment scores, closed equity gaps, or saved teacher hours—while confidently handling technical objections and procurement hurdles.
- • Maintain encyclopedic knowledge of Wayground’s ever-evolving feature set, integrations (Google Classroom, Canvas, Microsoft Teams, etc.), privacy certifications (FERPA, COPPA, GDPR), and pricing models. You will translate technical specs into plain-English ROI for budget-conscious school boards.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in every interaction. Wayground’s mission is to help teachers motivate every student; you will ensure that under-represented districts and educators see themselves reflected in our solutions and success stories.
- • Travel across New York state as needed (roughly 25–30%) for school visits, regional conferences like NYSCATE, and strategic planning sessions. When you’re not on the road, enjoy the flexibility of remote work from anywhere in the state.
- • Leverage our modern tech stack—Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Tableau—to automate low-value tasks and spend more time in high-value conversations. You will iterate on sequences, A/B test messaging, and share winning plays with the broader sales organization.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning by attending weekly deal clinics, quarterly product bootcamps, and optional EdTech industry certifications. Your curiosity and feedback will directly shape Wayground’s next chapter of growth.
