  • • As an Account Executive in Gartner’s Public Sector division, you will drive client retention and growth by building trust-based relationships with C-Level Executives in Central/Local Government, Security & Defence, Tax, Healthcare, and Housing, ensuring mission-critical priorities are met through objective research and strategic insights.
  • • You will manage a territory of Large Enterprise clients with over $1B in annual revenue, owning quota responsibility, forecasting, and account planning while driving value delivery, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and maintaining a high-quality pipeline to consistently meet and exceed sales KPIs.
  • • Gartner’s Public Sector sales division empowers public sector leaders with actionable, objective insights that enable faster, smarter decisions — your role directly contributes to helping government and public service organizations achieve their strategic goals through trusted advisory partnerships.
  • • You will collaborate within a high-performing, inclusive, and globally recognized sales team that values intellectual curiosity, performance-driven results, and teamwork, operating in a hybrid environment that balances virtual productivity with meaningful in-person engagement.

  • • 5-8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments
  • • Proven experience selling to and/or influencing C-Level Executives
  • • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • • Willingness to conduct travel as needed
