- • As an Account Executive - Retail at Celonis SE, you will play a pivotal role in driving enterprise growth by acquiring new clients and expanding market presence in the retail sector across the United States, with a focus on Minnesota and remote engagement. This role is critical to Celonis’ mission of unlocking business productivity through Process Intelligence, where you will directly contribute to scaling the adoption of award-winning AI-powered technology that transforms how organizations understand and optimize their operations.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will center on identifying, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities within a defined territory of retail accounts. You will establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across multiple organizational levels, including C-suite executives, operations leaders, and IT decision-makers, to deeply understand their strategic challenges and articulate how Celonis’ solutions deliver measurable value in areas such as supply chain efficiency, finance process optimization, and customer experience enhancement.
- • You will guide prospects through a structured sales cycle—from initial prospecting and qualification to needs analysis, solution presentation, and deal closure—leveraging collaboration with Value Engineers to deliver tailored demonstrations and use-case-specific proofs of value that highlight ROI and process improvement potential.
- • A significant part of your role involves forging strategic alliances with leading consulting firms, system integrators, SaaS partners, and Big4 accounting organizations to expand reach and co-sell solutions, ensuring alignment with client transformation initiatives and implementation roadmaps.
- • You will work closely with a virtual team comprising Business Development Representatives, Partner Managers, Marketing Specialists, and Value Engineers to ensure seamless coordination throughout the sales process, from lead handoff to post-sale enablement, maintaining a customer-centric approach at every stage.

- • Demonstrated success in SaaS sales with a proven track record of acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts, particularly in enterprise software or technology solutions.
- • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving C-level and senior decision-makers in large organizations.
- • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of retail operations, supply chain processes, finance workflows, and key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the industry.
- • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with external partners, including consulting firms, system integrators, and technology providers, to drive joint go-to-market strategies.
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical value propositions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a hunter mentality, capable of independently managing a sales pipeline and achieving quota targets in a remote or hybrid work environment.
