  • • As an Account Executive for SLED (State, Local, and Education) at Pure Storage, you will lead the mission to modernize public sector infrastructure by selling the Everpure™ Platform and all-flash storage solutions to government and educational institutions.
  • • You will own end-to-end sales cycles in the SLED territory, identifying new logo opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and driving revenue growth to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • • You will collaborate with technical experts, product managers, and channel partners to design and execute strategic account plans that solve complex customer challenges and position Pure Storage as a trusted advisor.
  • • You will build deep, lasting relationships across stakeholder levels—from data center teams to executive leadership—translating technical benefits into clear value propositions and maintaining industry-leading customer satisfaction.
  • • You will leverage your SLED market expertise to navigate complex procurement processes, including RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations, while working effectively with federal system integrators.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven success navigating the SLED procurement process, including deep experience with RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations, alongside an understanding of working with Federal system integrators.
  • • A "Challenger Mindset" with the ability to use customer insights and a hunter's instinct to prospect new logos and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • • Exceptional communication skills with a track record of building internal and external partnerships, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue, leveraging CRM tools to track success and consistently delivering referenceable business results.
  • • Experience selling complex technology solutions, preferably in data storage, infrastructure, or enterprise IT, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, marketing, or a related field.
