- • As an Account Executive (SLED) for Apollo Information Systems, you will drive cybersecurity sales growth across State, Local Government, and Education accounts in the Northeast Region, playing a critical role in expanding the company’s footprint in a high-priority market.
- • You will partner with a Senior AE to co-own the Northeast SLED territory, executing on a territory business plan through outbound prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and closing complex deals while managing a healthy pipeline in CRM.
- • Apollo Information Systems is a rapidly growing cybersecurity services company backed by Series A funding, pioneering a cybersecurity-as-a-service model with deep specialization in election security and public sector compliance, serving state and local governments, K-12 and higher education, and mid-market enterprises.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in public sector sales cycles, navigate complex procurement vehicles like DIR and cooperative purchasing contracts, and build trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and procurement officers, while contributing market intelligence to shape product and service offerings.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated success selling cybersecurity solutions such as MSSP, MDR, SOC-as-a-Service, or security product/VAR experience
- • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, including DIR contracts and cooperative purchasing vehicles
- • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a hunter/business development role
- • Experience selling to and navigating complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles
- • Strong command of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger)
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- • Self-starter mentality with ability to manage a territory independently
