  • • As an Account Executive for SLED (Sacramento) at Pure Storage, you will lead the mission to modernize public sector infrastructure by selling the Everpure™ Platform and all-flash storage solutions to State, Local, and Education institutions.
  • • You will own end-to-end sales cycles, drive new logo acquisition, expand existing accounts, and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets within your assigned territory.
  • • You will collaborate with technical experts, product managers, and channel partners to design and execute strategic account plans that solve complex customer challenges and position Pure Storage as a trusted advisor.
  • • You will build deep relationships across stakeholder levels—from data center teams to executive leadership—translating technical benefits into compelling value propositions to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.

  • • You will develop expertise in SLED procurement processes, including RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations, while leveraging CRM tools to track performance and deliver referenceable business results.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven success navigating the SLED procurement process, including deep experience with RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations, alongside familiarity with Federal system integrators.
  • • Demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end sales cycles, prospect new logos, and expand existing accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets in a competitive, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • • Exceptional communication skills with a track record of building internal and external partnerships and articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • Outcome-driven mindset with proven ability to manage a territory using CRM tools to assess performance and consistently deliver referenceable business results.
  • • Challenger Mindset: ability to use customer insights and a hunter’s instinct to identify opportunities and navigate complex sales cycles.
