- • As an Account Executive (SLED) for Apollo Information Systems, you will drive cybersecurity business growth across State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) accounts in the Southeastern United States, playing a critical role in expanding the company’s market presence in a high-priority sector.
- • You will partner with a Senior AE to co-own the Southeastern SLED region, executing territory plans, prospecting new accounts, managing complex sales cycles, and closing deals through consultative selling and deep engagement with public sector stakeholders.
- • Apollo Information Systems is a rapidly growing cybersecurity services company backed by Series A funding, specializing in unified security and compliance programs for public sector and mid-market clients, with a mission to simplify security through outcome-driven, subscription-based solutions.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in public sector sales, cybersecurity solutions, and complex procurement processes while building long-term client relationships, contributing to team knowledge, and advancing your career in a mission-driven, collaborative culture focused on integrity and results.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated success selling cybersecurity solutions such as MSSP, MDR, SOC-as-a-Service, or security product/VAR experience
- • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, including DIR contracts and cooperative purchasing vehicles
- • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a hunter/business development role
- • Experience selling to and navigating complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles
- • Strong command of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger)
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- • Self-starter mentality with ability to manage a territory independently
