  • • Serve as an Account Executive for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) within Zeller’s Sales team, focusing on qualifying inbound leads and building, nurturing, and closing your own pipeline of SMB deals.
  • • Engage directly with Australian SMB merchants—including family-run businesses, multi-location chains, and large-scale event operators—to understand their unique financial and payment needs.
  • • Conduct single conversations to identify merchant pain points and position Zeller’s payments and financial services platform as the optimal solution for improving cash flow and financial clarity.
  • • Champion merchant needs by providing tailored support and acting as a trusted advisor, not a hard seller, to build lasting business relationships.
  • • Develop deep expertise in Zeller’s product offerings, including payments technology and financial tools designed to help Australian businesses get paid faster and manage finances more effectively.
  • • Handle objections confidently and resiliently, using grit and adaptability to navigate complex sales scenarios and overcome barriers to conversion.
  • • Operate in a hybrid role that combines lead qualification with full-cycle sales ownership, transitioning from a Business Development Representative (BDR) mindset to an Account Executive role.
  • • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new merchants, aligning sales outcomes with customer success.
  • • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and deal progress within CRM systems to support pipeline visibility and forecasting.
  • • Stay informed about the Australian SMB market landscape, including industry trends, competitive offerings, and evolving financial technology expectations.
  • • Embrace a fast-paced, dynamic environment with no bureaucracy, where innovation and initiative drive success and outcomes are measured by merchant impact and revenue growth.
