📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-hosted services and platforms supporting Smile Digital Health’s SaaS offerings using modern cloud-native technologies.
• Own the development and maintenance of deployment artifacts including Helm charts, Docker containers, and Docker Compose configurations for scalable and reproducible environments.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources across environments.
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows that ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, architecture, and security teams to ensure all cloud deployments adhere to enterprise architecture patterns and security best practices.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is scalable, highly available, and resilient to support global healthcare data platforms used in over 20 countries.
• Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of cloud-based systems that enable structured healthcare data exchange via a FHIR-based data liberation platform.
• Work cross-functionally to align cloud infrastructure with business goals, including supporting the company’s mission of #BetterGlobalHealth through reliable health data management.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency, and security compliance, implementing proactive improvements and incident response protocols.
• Document cloud architecture, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity across teams.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry standards to continuously improve the platform’s technical foundation and operational maturity.
• Support the deployment and scaling of systems that facilitate healthcare data collection and exchange across care teams and health systems globally.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing and maintaining cloud-native architectures on major platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) including Helm chart development
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development and automation using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
