📋 Description

• Lead and scale OpenAI’s ISV and technology partner portfolio as the single accountable owner for high-impact partnerships, driving strategic alignment and measurable business outcomes.
• Own and grow a portfolio of strategic ISV and technology partnerships, with accountability for partnership health, adoption, and business impact.
• Define partnership strategy and priorities, including joint plans, goals, and an execution roadmap across key partner segments.
• Establish and run a durable operating model, including governance, stakeholder alignment, escalation paths, and execution cadence.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape and deliver integrations that meet enterprise requirements for reliability, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Security, Legal, and Privacy teams to ensure appropriate trust, compliance, and commercial frameworks for joint work.
• Build and drive joint GTM plans with Field and Marketing teams, including enablement, solution positioning, and coordinated execution.
• Track performance against clear metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement across partnerships and programs.
• Represent OpenAI with senior partner executives, driving alignment, resolving issues, and expanding partnership scope over time.
• About the team: OpenAI’s GTM Partnerships team builds a strategic, global partner ecosystem to accelerate customer success, enable enterprise AI adoption, and drive durable growth in support of OpenAI’s mission toward AGI. We work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, and GTM to deliver strong partner outcomes through disciplined strategy and execution.
• What the person can learn or achieve: Develop executive-level partnership strategy, lead cross-functional initiatives at the forefront of enterprise AI adoption, and shape how leading technology platforms integrate with OpenAI’s ecosystem to drive real-world impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience leading strategic technology partnerships, alliances, or platform ecosystem programs in enterprise software or cloud.
• A track record building and scaling partnerships from early-stage strategy through execution, integrations, and GTM.
• Strong technical and product fluency, with the ability to partner effectively with solutions engineering and security teams (without needing to be the hands-on implementer).
• Experience navigating enterprise requirements related to security, privacy, governance, and compliance in partner-led initiatives.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and the ability to drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales/GTM, Legal, and partner organizations.
• Strong executive presence, negotiation capability, and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
