- • Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap creation to full-scale rollout, focusing on automating car ownership services using LLMs, agents, and internal APIs.
- • Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in AI-driven customer interactions.
- • Serve as the technical translator between engineering and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices and platform standards across the organization.
- • Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous experimentation and data-backed decision-making.
- • Work directly with OpenAI partners to evaluate, test, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities integrated into the ChatGPT App.
- • Own and optimize a system that already automates over 70% of inbound sales and service requests (50k+ chats per month), scaling it to handle increasing user demand and complexity.
- • Define and measure key performance metrics tied to automation efficiency, customer retention, and operational cost reduction, using data to validate hypotheses and guide product direction.
- • Translate complex technical concepts about API design, model behavior, and system architecture into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- • Build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation in AI workflows, monitoring real-time feedback loops, and iterating on human-in-the-loop systems.
- • Collaborate across product, engineering, design, and customer success to ensure AI features align with user needs and business goals in the $2T car ownership market.
- • Establish and enforce platform-wide standards for AI reliability, safety, and scalability, ensuring consistent performance across all customer touchpoints.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to expand automation into new car ownership domains such as insurance, financing, maintenance, and safety services.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with the latest advancements in LLMs, agent-based systems, and conversational AI, applying release notes and research directly to product development.
- • Lead initiatives that reduce manual intervention in customer service while maintaining high satisfaction scores, using data to quantify impact and justify investment.
- • Champion a data-driven culture by independently querying datasets using SQL to answer product questions and validate assumptions without relying on analytics teams.
- • Act as a systems thinker who can navigate technical tradeoffs, prioritize features based on impact and feasibility, and lead by example in implementing AI platform standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in management consulting or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
- • Proven interest in and hands-on experience with modern LLM systems
- • Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead by example when implementing AI platform standards
- • A track record of turning complex, strategic ideas into scalable, production-grade products
- • Familiarity with SQL and comfort diving into data to answer questions and validate hypotheses
- • Systems thinking skills with the ability to engage in technical conversations about API design and system architecture
