- • Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap creation to full-scale rollout, automating over 50k monthly chats and >70% of inbound sales and service requests.
- • Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in production LLM systems.
- • Serve as the technical translator between engineering and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices, platform standards, and scalable workflows for AI agents.
- • Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven iteration.
- • Collaborate directly with OpenAI to evaluate, integrate, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities into the ChatGPT App.
- • Own the strategic direction of Jerry.ai’s AI agents and platform, ensuring alignment with product goals and customer needs in a regulated, high-volume production environment.
- • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders across product, operations, and leadership.
- • Build and scale a sophisticated AI system that redefines car ownership by automating fragmented processes across insurance, financing, maintenance, and safety services.
- • Implement and enforce AI platform standards that ensure reliability, safety, and compliance while maintaining high performance under real-world usage conditions.
- • Dive into operational data using SQL to validate hypotheses, uncover optimization opportunities, and measure impact on key metrics such as automation rate and customer retention.
- • Act as a systems thinker by engaging in technical discussions around API design, model architecture, and agent workflows, while maintaining a focus on user-centric outcomes.
- • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation, learning from failures, and iterating rapidly on AI-driven customer experiences.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with the latest LLM releases, reading model release notes and building custom workflows to stay ahead of industry advancements.
- • Lead by example in implementing production-grade AI solutions that are scalable, measurable, and aligned with Jerry.ai’s mission to simplify car ownership for over 5 million customers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in management consulting or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
- • Proven interest in modern LLM systems and experience working in a regulated production environment
- • Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead implementation of AI platform standards
- • Track record of turning complex, strategic ideas into scalable, production-grade products
- • Familiarity with SQL and comfort using data to answer questions and validate hypotheses
- • Intrinsically motivated technologist who actively builds custom AI workflows and stays current with model releases
