📋 Description

• • The Account Executive, Strategic, Federal (Civilian) at Docker Inc. is responsible for managing and expanding high-value relationships with key civilian federal agencies, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and program executives while driving sustainable revenue growth through strategic partnerships aligned with federal missions and digital transformation initiatives.
• • Day to day, the role involves building and nurturing long-term relationships with CIO, CISO, and program office leaders; developing multi-year strategic plans aligned with agency IT modernization goals; identifying and closing strategic sales opportunities; tracking federal procurement trends and FedRAMP requirements; collaborating with Product, Solutions Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams to deliver compliant solutions; forecasting pipelines; and leading complex contract negotiations with Contracting Officers and legal teams.

• • In this role, the person can develop deep expertise in federal sales cycles and civilian agency missions, master complex procurement processes like FAR/DFARS and FedRAMP, build executive-level influence across SES, CIO, and CISO audiences, drive measurable growth in strategic accounts, and establish themselves as a trusted strategic advisor while contributing to Docker’s mission in the federal technology landscape.
