  • • The Strategic Account Executive role at Rapid7 is a high-impact, quota-carrying position focused on driving new customer acquisition and expanding Rapid7’s cybersecurity footprint across South West Germany. This role is critical to the company’s growth in the DACH region, where the successful candidate will own the full sales cycle for strategic accounts (1,500–7,500 employees), directly contributing to revenue targets and market penetration in a competitive cybersecurity landscape.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within the strategic segment; prospecting creatively to generate leads and align Rapid7’s solutions to customer needs; monitoring competitor offerings to inform positioning and strategy; leveraging customer insights to influence decision-making and drive growth; and collaborating closely with Channel, Solutions Engineering, Sales Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless implementation and long-term account success.
  • • The EMEA Sales organisation at Rapid7 is a collaborative, mission-driven team dedicated to securing digital environments through the full Rapid7 product portfolio. The DACH Sales team, consisting of 12 Account Executives, is supported by specialized functions including Business Development, Channel, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success, enabling a coordinated approach to delivering customer outcomes and regional growth.
  • • In this role, the Account Executive will develop deep expertise in enterprise cybersecurity sales, refine strategic account planning and execution skills, and gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration across global sales, technical, and customer success teams. Success in this position opens pathways to senior sales leadership, specialization in complex solution selling, or advancement into regional or global account management roles within Rapid7’s high-growth cybersecurity business.
