  • • Serve as a senior individual contributor and hunter Account Executive to drive new business development for Payward Services’ Trading-as-a-Service (TaaS) platform across financial institutions, broker-dealers, fintechs, payments companies, wealth platforms, and consumer technology firms.
  • • Own the full sales cycle from outbound origination and prospecting through commercial negotiation, contract execution, and early-stage partner onboarding for institutional-grade crypto trading and embedded brokerage infrastructure.
  • • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline targeting decision-makers at financial institutions, exchanges, trading applications, and consumer technology companies seeking to integrate crypto trading, tokenized equities, derivatives/futures, and multi-asset brokerage capabilities.
  • • Lead commercial discussions with C-level, product, engineering, and business stakeholders to position Payward Services as the preferred partner for launching modern trading and investing experiences within their own products.
  • • Structure and close complex B2B partnerships with 6-7 figure ACV/TCV structures focused on API-first trading infrastructure, white-label brokerage, and embedded investing solutions.
  • • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Liquidity, Compliance, and Legal teams to translate partner requirements into scalable, compliant commercial solutions and facilitate smooth partner launches.
  • • Represent Payward Services at global industry conferences, client meetings, and ecosystem events to elevate brand visibility and generate new pipeline opportunities.
  • • Identify emerging market opportunities in digital assets, tokenized finance, embedded investing, and next-generation trading applications to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
  • • Provide ongoing market feedback and competitive intelligence to Product and Go-to-Market teams to shape positioning, pricing, and feature prioritization for TaaS offerings.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline forecasting, stakeholder mapping, and CRM hygiene across all commercial activities to ensure data-driven decision-making and sales performance tracking.
  • • Communicate complex technical, operational, and regulatory concepts — including crypto spot and derivatives trading, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks — in a clear and commercially compelling manner to executive and technical audiences.
  • • Operate effectively across multiple time zones to manage a global client base from a European-based remote position.
  • • Demonstrate deep familiarity with modern trading infrastructure including API integrations, institutional-grade trading platforms, tokenized equity products, and multi-asset brokerage ecosystems.
  • • Align sales strategies with Kraken’s mission to accelerate global crypto adoption and enable financial freedom through secure, accessible, and institutional-grade digital asset services.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of sales or business development experience within financial services, fintech, embedded finance, capital markets infrastructure, or digital assets, with demonstrable success in a hunter/new business role.
  • • Deep and active network of relationships across financial institutions, broker-dealers, fintechs, exchanges, payments companies, wealth platforms, and consumer technology companies at a decision-maker level.
  • • Proven track record of originating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder B2B partnerships with 6-7 figure ACV/TCV structures.
  • • Strong understanding of modern trading infrastructure including API-first trading platforms, embedded investing experiences, crypto spot and derivatives trading, tokenized equities, and multi-asset brokerage solutions.
  • • Experience selling Trading-as-a-Service, embedded finance, API-based trading infrastructure, white-label brokerage, or multi-asset trading platforms.
  • • Working knowledge of crypto markets, blockchain technology, tokenized assets, stablecoins, derivatives/futures, and emerging digital asset trading trends.
