  • • The Strategic Account Director (SAD) serves as the day-to-day strategic advisor to clients, ensuring work is strategically on-target, delivered within budget and timelines, while driving revenue generation through effective leadership of internal teams.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include initiating and overseeing Precision AQ activities on behalf of clients, managing client-Precision AQ communication on strategy and planning, and functioning as an extension of the client’s team by taking ownership of their business outcomes.
  • • The role involves managing client budgets and team efficiency to maximize return, mentoring and coaching team members, celebrating successes, learning from mistakes, and sharing insights across teams to foster continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field; other majors considered.
  • • Minimum of five (5) years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, medical affairs, or medical communications agency experience, with proven success managing and growing $1M+ pharma/healthcare accounts.
  • • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or advanced degree in management, marketing, or business is desirable/preferred.
  • • Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing employees, growing client relationships, and managing expanding business opportunities.
  • • Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and interact professionally with clients and thought leaders across therapeutic areas.
  • • Ability to understand and interpret market dynamics, scientific information, clinical and preclinical data, and act on business metrics and financial information.
