📋 Description
- • As an Account Manager at Adyen, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of the business by managing relationships with innovative international merchants across multiple industries and channels, contributing to the expansion of the Adyen brand globally.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with other Account Managers on a pooled approach to manage a wide portfolio of mid-sized, fast-growth merchants, focusing on relationship management, commercial growth, customer satisfaction, reducing churn, driving strategic and financial targets, prioritizing short and long-term projects, and serving as a feedback loop for customers internally while engaging in technical discussions about payments.
- • You will join a motivated, entrepreneurial team at Adyen that values autonomy, collaboration, and ownership, working in a fast-paced environment where individuals tackle unique technical challenges at scale and deliver innovative, ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2-5 years of full-time work experience in a client-facing, commercial role such as account management, consulting, or in the payments industry from a merchant side (bonus for experience in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services)
- • Full professional written and verbal proficiency in both Italian and English; additional languages are a plus
- • Willingness to work in a hybrid model from the Milan office with some domestic and international travel required; remote-only roles are not offered
