- • Prospect and secure new advertising and sponsorship customers within the physics market across North America.
- • Manage and nurture relationships with existing accounts to ensure retention and long-term growth.
- • Upsell and expand revenue from current clients by proposing integrated marketing solutions from the AIP/Wiley portfolio.
- • Apply expertise in digital advertising and content marketing to design tailored campaigns that meet client objectives.
- • Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets to drive profitable growth for the physics portfolio.
- • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with stakeholders including product managers, marketing teams, and technical experts.
- • Demonstrate deep understanding of advertising concepts, digital media tools, and the marketing needs of electronics and electrical industry professionals.
- • Communicate persuasively and professionally through presentations, proposals, and client meetings in both written and verbal formats.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records to track pipeline activity, client interactions, and sales progress.
- • Work independently with strong time management to prioritize tasks, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
- • Leverage knowledge of technical marketing audiences to align advertising solutions with the specific goals of researchers, engineers, and institutions.
- • Represent Wiley and AIP as a trusted advisor in the scientific advertising space, promoting brand credibility and value.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery of advertising products and services to clients.
- • Stay informed on industry trends in scientific publishing, digital advertising, and physics research to inform sales strategy.
- • Contribute to the development of sales materials and client presentations to enhance effectiveness and consistency.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree or higher
- • 2+ years of experience prospecting, winning new business, and managing client accounts
- • Experience working with managers, directors, and product managers in technical marketing roles
- • Strong accountability for delivering sales growth
- • Strong negotiation and communication skills
- • Excellent presentation skills
