Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and nurture a dynamic book of Fine Art clients—ranging from emerging galleries to established museums—serving as the single point of accountability for every service touchpoint from renewal strategy to daily endorsements.
- • Drive renewal excellence by analyzing expiring policies, benchmarking market pricing, and presenting clear, data-driven recommendations that protect irreplaceable collections while optimizing cost.
- • Execute mid-term changes with surgical precision: update schedules of insurance, issue certificates, revise invoicing, and ensure the agency management system reflects real-time accuracy for every line of coverage.
- • Partner with underwriters, appraisers, conservators, and logistics firms to craft loss-prevention programs that reduce frequency and severity of claims on high-value, fragile, or traveling objects.
- • Act as the claims quarterback—interpreting policy language, assembling loss documentation, and advocating for fair settlements—while escalating complex or high-severity matters to senior leadership and external adjusters.
- • Identify cross-sell opportunities in Property, General Liability, Cyber, and Private Client lines, collaborating with colleagues across 30+ specialty practices to deepen client relationships and grow revenue organically.
- • Provide white-glove support to Producers and Account Executives on new business pitches: prepare coverage comparisons, flag potential gaps, and build polished proposal decks that win multi-million-dollar placements.
- • Serve as the back-up Account Manager for senior team members during peak renewal cycles, absorbing additional books without compromising service standards or turnaround times.
- • Maintain a pulse on the Fine Art insurance marketplace—tracking carrier appetites, capacity shifts, and CAT-exposure trends—then distill insights into actionable guidance for clients and internal stakeholders.
- • Document every client, carrier, and vendor interaction in the system of record, ensuring audit-ready files and seamless hand-offs across a 100-office, 5,000-employee network.
- • Represent Risk Strategies at industry functions, auctions, and museum receptions, expanding your professional network while reinforcing the firm’s reputation as the go-to broker for cultural assets.
- • Champion Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives by promoting sustainable transit crates, carbon-neutral shipping options, and diversity-focused underwriters within the Fine Art ecosystem.
- • Continuously refine workflows and leverage technology to reduce administrative drag, freeing more time for strategic advisory conversations that elevate the client experience.
- • Mentor junior coordinators and interns, sharing technical knowledge and modeling the collaborative culture that earned Risk Strategies five consecutive “Best Places to Work in Insurance” awards.
